EXAMPLE APPLICATION – 1” and 2” square whip and feathered stock planting
For whip planting, square posts of 30mm or 50mm (1” or 2”) are typically used for supporting tree guards, defenders, huggers and shelters.
For these square posts use a Square Adapter to match, providing a tight fit on the post. This will offer speed and accuracy, the perfect combination when volume tree planting is required.
EXAMPLE APPLICATION – 1” and 2” square newt fencing / wildlife barrier fencing
For fencing-off sensitive nature areas, small square posts are used, usuallyv30mm or 50mm square (1” or 2”). Use a square adapter to match the post size, allowing the operator to twist the stakes as driving, ensuring all posts are facing the required direction.
Environmental protected areas require minimum ground disturbance and can be inaccessible for vehicle driven post knockers. That’s where the Easy Post Driver gets access to all areas with minimum impact.

EXAMPLE APPLICATION – 3” square railway boundary fencing / domestic garden fencing
On nationwide infrastructure Network Rail perimeter fencing typically uses 75mm (3”) square posts.
The 80mm Square Adapter precisely fits these 3” square posts, ensuring a safe alternative to manual hammers for the operator.

The 80mm Square Adapter precisely fits these 3” square posts.
EXAMPLE APPLICATION – 4” square farming strainer posts
For larger heavy-duty fencing projects including farming, equestrian, gardens and decking, contractors often call for a larger heavier sized post.
These 100mm (4”) posts are suitable for the Easy Petrol Post Driver providing a tight firm hold for the heavier sized post using the 107mm Square Adapter.
**Advisory** - when driving large 4” square posts a good pilot hole is needed prior to driving a post in. We recommend making this with our Pilot Core Tool, which is driven in using the Post Driver creating a 2” pilot hole.
Once the hole is made a 3-minute water soak can also be applied to soften hard ground, then use the Easy Post Driver for these large fence posts.
The pilot core tool has a special durable heat-treated toughened head for hard ground conditions and helps reduce post-drive time by 50%.
Which adapter do I need?
Most importantly, you need a snug fitting adapter on the post. This ensures the machine is level on the post, striking it hard in the post centre, every time.
Adapter size guideline: allow 5-10mm larger than the post diameter. For non-uniform post shapes, measure the widest diameter of your post.
A poorly fitting adapter will be a detriment to the machines performance, and will cause strain on the operator and the machine. Still unsure – get in touch for expert advice.
