    Adapter for installing Estate Fence posts. Traditional Estate Fencing achieves a timeless look to country houses, parklands and, more recently, new home estates. 

    This fencing is a flat steel bar, requiring accurate installation to achieve the beautiful result expected of the finished fence. This Adapter provides a guide to enable this. 

    Typically, Estate Fence posts range from 40mm x 8mm, to 50mm x 12mm.
    Upon placing your order, we will request the dimensions of your posts, so that we can make the adapter just the right size. This is included in the price.

    Alternative sizes can be made for the same price. Please get in touch for further details.

    Compatible with the Classic35 and Classic50 models only.

    What adapter(s) do I need?

    To get the most effective use from the Post Driver, the Adapter size must be a snug fit for your Posts. We recommend the Adapter must be no more than 5-10mm larger than your Post. For shaped posts (squares, t-shapes, etc), the outer corners need to be within this capacity.

    If you are unsure which adapter(s) are right for you, please contact us for advice specific to your application.

    What is the maximum ability of the machine?

    The maximum size post that can be driven in is 4” (100mm) diameter. Our largest adapter is 107mm internal diameter. When the ground is very dry, compacted or stony, you will need to make a pilot hole for posts larger than 78mm. This can be either by hand using a Pilot Bar, or mechanically using our Pilot Core Tool add-on. Posts smaller than 78mm should not need a pilot hole. Ground conditions of clay or chalk may also require a pilot hole.

    Easy Fitting

    Use a 6mm hex key to unscrew the 8 bolts and locking washers. Slide the current Adapter off the base of the Post Driver. Slide the new Adapter into its place and attach using the same bolts and washers. Remember to use a Locking Compound on the screw threads to stop them vibrating out.
