What's the difference between the 3 Post Driver models?

enero 23, 2026 2 lectura mínima

Did you know that there are actually three different models of the Easy Petrol Post Driver?

There's the Classic35, the Classic50, and the Max107.

We’re going to explain some of the differences below, to make sure you buy the right one.

Starting with the Classic35 – this model weighs 15.6kg, and is powered by the Honda GX35 4-Stroke petrol engine. This engine is pushing out one kilowatt of power, which provides 1720 beats per minute onto the top of your post. This model is perfect for timber and metal posts up to 4” diameter, Clipex, scaffold poles, ground anchors, marque pins and more.

Moving to the Classic50 – this model weighs 16.3kg and is powered by the Honda GX50 4-Stroke petrol engine, providing 1.47 kilowatts of power – which equates to 1780 beats per minute on the post. As you have the additional power from the larger engine, it is easier to install larger profile posts (e.g. 5x3” or 4” round or square), as well as everything else that the Classic35 can do.

Finally, onto the biggest machine, which is the Max107 – this model weighs 17.5kg, and the reason for that is because it has a bigger crankcase, a bigger piston assembly, external cooling fins. The Post Driver body is overall a bit more heavy-duty, and a bit more powerful. This model features the same engine as the Classic50, so it's the Honda GX50 engine, with 1.47 kilowatts of power, and pushes through 1780 beats per minute. It can install any size of round posts up to 4” in diameter.

All three models come with a 5-year commercial parts warranty, and a 1-year Honda engine warranty.
